The Mauritshuis was originally a city palace, built for Johan Maurits Prince of Nassau-Siegen in the 17th century. The architecture of the building, designed by the painter-architect Jacob van Campen, has been imitated many times. The building on the Hofvijver is owned by the Dutch state and is one of the 'Top 100 of the National Monuments Care' from 1990.

The end of the line for the 16 TZI Custom...
Started life in 1992 as a 16 TZI automatic, Then at some point later in it's life it got turned into a 19 GTi 8V manual.
About 320.000KM on the clock. But the rust devil caught up to this one bad...
It drove wonderfully until the end. Which is exactly why I got it as a donor, as the parts I needed for my TRI, are exactly the ones that were good on this BX. And now this is what remains...
It lived quite a full life I think!
Now let's hope it'll help to get another few BX's besides my TRI back on (or stay on) the road
And may the remains rest, or rust in peace...
