Een gratis e-book samengesteld door Transitie Boxtel

In de Coronaperiode konden de mensen van Transitie Boxtel weinig doen, dus bijv. geen Repair Café ’s, geen films en lezingen en ook geen Duurzame Week. Toen kregen ze van regiokrant De Meierij de mogelijkheid wekelijks een duurzame tip te publiceren. Die kans werd met creatieve handen aangegrepen. Met redactiehulp van een lokale journalist konden ze gebruik maken van de wekelijkse teksten die de landelijke campagne ’52 weken Duurzaam’ beschikbaar stelde.

Een tweede on-conferentie van de Transitiebeweging 14-16 april

Aan het slot van de eerste on-conferentie eind oktober 2022 is besloten dat we een tweede on-conferentie gaan organiseren. Er moet veel gebeuren in Nederland en in de wereld. We zijn op koers voor meer opwarming, meer biodiverstiteitsverlies en meer rechtvaardigheidsproblemen. Kortom een polycrisis in de maak. en omdat we haast hebben organiseren we de tweede on-conferentie al binnen een half jaar na de vorige keer;we mogen niet in jaarlijkse cycli blijven handelen.

Geen programma, keynotes of powerpoints. Van vrijdagavond tot zondagmiddag zaten we met een groep enthousiaste Transitiedenkers- en doeners midden in het bos. De (veel te) warme herfstzon kleurde de bladeren van het bos waar de accommodatie middenin was. Het was de bedoeling een Transitie basistraining te houden, maar die kwam niet vol, waardoor dit plan ontstond: een heel weekend voor mensen met interesse in leiderschap voor de transitiebeweging. Onderwerpen van dit weekend: het burgerinitiatief (grassroots-beweging), effectiviteit en leiderschap.

We vonden een interessante opleiding: Een deeltijd master “Klimaatpsychologie en gedrag”.

We zijn onderdeel van het klimaat probleem, maar hoe mooi is het om onderdeel van de oplossing te worden? Het gaat in de master om de menselijke kant, het klimaat vraagstuk koppelen aan gedrag.

In de samenleving wordt de noodzaak tot verandering duidelijker en dan komen ook de weerstanden meer in zicht. In de master ga je onderzoek doen EN interventies ontwikkelen die gedrag rond dit vraagstuk kunnen beïnvloeden.

Wat is Transitieleiderschap en hoe maken we (meer) impact? Dat zijn de vragen op deze inclusieve on-conferentie. We gaan ontdekken en leren van en met elkaar. Van vrijdag 28 oktober 18.00 uur (inloop) tot zondag 30 oktober 17.00 uur.
